About Me

My Name is Fenny Betaria Tambunan. 

People in my real life often call me Beta. And people in my cyber world call me FEBE - this is simply an acronym for my name. I live in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia.  My native language is Indonesia.

I was born in Medan, September 5th, 1977. First daugther on Tambunan's big family. I have 1 sister n 3 brothers. My dad is Mr. Tambunan and my Mom is Mrs. Tambunan br Lubis. 

i have spend my childhood in Medan untill my gaduated from senior high school. after it,  i came to Jakarta to study my college at UKI, Jakarta.  And .. here i am. I live in Medan now after graduating from the University .

 I like to read books (mostly in English) and listen to music a lot. I like cooking n singing too.

I love education world thats why i am be a teacher. its so fun to be near my student every day.

What's your favourite book?

I read lots of books. I don't have one that I could call my favourite. I like detective fiction - especially books by Agatha Christie. I also like  "The Lord of The Rings" by JRR Tolkien.

One of the best books I read as a child was comic series of candy-candy. I do like comic n it is untill now n until forever. :D

Apart from novels, I often read books about computer programming, psychology, learning techniques and popular science.

I do most of my reading in English - it helps me improve my language skills.

What's your favourite music?

Well, it's a tough question. If I had to pick one favourite genre, I would probably choose rock. But I also like pop, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, dance.

The bands/performers I listen to include U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cardigans, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Avril Lavigne, BSB, Faith No More, Led Zeppelin, Dido, Apocaliptica, The Streets, Coldplay, Eric Clapton, Rihanna , Beyonce, Distuebed etc.

And some Indonesian ones too: Sheila On 7, Gigi, Slank, ehmmmm .... ( stiil think... :D)

I love KPOP too. One of my Fav band is BIGBANG ,, there are so cool. I love their act in live concer, i like their real voice, its so good. N they are handsome too hahahaha
